Work to Live, Don't Live to Work
Hi! My name is Abhishek Patel and I am 19 years old. I am a student of well known and reputed educational institute Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology(DAIICT).
I am doing my graduation in ICT field which is very new and imerging field of engineering.
My goal is to become a one of the best programmers of the world. After an experience of almost one and a half year as an Associate Member of Microsoft Student Technical Club(MSTC) I learnt many things like event management, team work, ability to learn from failure and leadership. I can say that
I am a responsible and hard working person. I have a dream of changing the society by doing remarkable work to improve it.
I see Web Development as an art and a driver of customer delight. I'm the catalyst that mixes ideas, pushes concepts and finds the best way to energize brands through sophisticated visual designs of websites.
I don't believe in web design without purpose. I see web design as a science and believe that web design plays a role in solving problems that improve the consumer experience.
I think like a business owner and identify opportunities tp grow the business, the brand, whether indirectly or directly related to design.
I enjoy rolling up my sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty of design, yet my goal is ultimately to be a 'thought-leader' and provide more than ideas but inspiration.
I have high regards for team building, I work exceptionally well across all key functional areas including web development and programming and customer service.
I'm always looking for opportunities and aren't afraid to take risks for the sake of making things better;
In this internship I learnt about the basic problems of rural India like poverty and illiteracy etc. I visited schools run by the NGO and homes of villagers and discussed about different problems they are facing. We also discussed on how ICT can be implemented to improve the overall life of people in rural areas.
To understand how System Softwares work, we implemented our own tiny shell for Linux based OSs. It was identical with bash shell in Job Scheduling and Signal Handling.
For System Level understanding and to learn how dynamic memory gets allocated on our computers we programmed our own Dynamic Memory Allocator using C language. It was more efficient than malloc library function as we used Explicit List and First Fit algorithm.
As a part of workshop (CS with Android) organized by google in DAIICT I had to submit a game using any advanced data structure so I developed 5x5 version of 2048 game using Hash Map data structure.
This project was a part of my Basic Electronic course. In this project as a team we implemented working model of FM Transmitter and FM Receiver. This project was built using only basic electronic components like resister, transistor and inductors.
